Hope everyone had a good 4th of July Weekend! We went over to Odon, Indiana @ Parsons Motocross Compound this weekend for a Local series race (Extreme XC racing) UTV Night race! This is always a fun track! Big thanks to Randy and the team at Action Powersports for helping get parts in quick last week for this race!

I ended up starting on the 3rd row of Pro class, we had a pretty bad start leaving the line last of our row. Once it started I was able to pull back up to 3rd in our row by the second corner and held that going into the woods. Once we hit a tight turn in the woods on lap 1 that I overshot, the car went into limp mode not once but it did it twice which I had to pull over and shut the car off and restart to resolve. This gave up a couple positions unfortunately. Once we got back going we were doing good. My wife Darrelle was my Co-driver and did great watching LeadNav and keeping me in check since she couldn't see over the dash lol (Short Girl Problems) 😂 We were able to gain a few positions back throughout the race, but the high amount of dust combined with no wind and it getting darker and darker and moredependent on light, the dust was a huge limiting follow the leader factor to contend with making it extremely difficult! We ran our race and pulled off 10th place Overall and 10th place in Pro class from the 3rd row.

Ive got a few things to fix from this race. I really need to get the dead engine start better to be able to be more competitive. This race was another example of a race that you start first and get out front first and stay there due to the dust.

Side note, my Son Cam did good on his Polaris Outlaw 110 in the Youth ATV class this weekend! He ended up 4th in his class and he continues to do better and better each race!

Thank you to all of you!! Your support continues to make this possible!!
